Lowell Boileau mousing through the virtual environment of his "Total intervention" installation at the Detroit Institute of Arts "Interventions" exhibition in 1995. Total intervention was a navigable program that allowed visitors to virtually explore a graphically altered DIA. It was simultaneously displayed as a webiste. Matthew Blake was engaged to create the display unit from industrial age scrap metal.
