Does any know why they are tearing up all the intersections and replacing them. The city just finished a massive job last year included all handicapped accessible crosswalks with the little bubble bumps. Now the city is busting them out and replacing them. Is this typical city mismanagement or what? |

I thought that they were doing sewer work and stuff. When I went down last year, they had a 13 foot deep hole where the road was and there were pipes everywhere. |

The ramps were designed wrong. The ramps did not conform to ADA regulations. The city was sued over the issue. The city has to replace them with ADA compliant ramps. |

those "bumps" allow someone who is visually impaired to detect when they are about to walk out into the street. |
