Does anyone know the name of the actress in the Comcast 'Drop the Dish' commercials that are running all the time in the Detroit area?

Sonna Johns, according to the Detroit News

quote:

Finally, reader Frank Frisk wondered about the fetching brunette from those Comcast commercials. Well, her name is Sonna Johns and she is an actress, model and spokeswoman. The wife and mother lives in Metro Detroit and is a Warren Cousino High School grad and an alumna of the Specs Howard School of Broadcast Arts in Southfield. Well she is definitely MILFlicious. Way better than that semi-MILF from the Victory Honda commercials.

This is my worst post ever.

I think she sort of resembles Catherine Zeta-Jones. I see the commercial w/her 50 times during a Piston game. Her and the Victory Honda dilf should do a porno together.

They aren't exactly the easiest people to get pictures of guys. They are on local television commercials.

I really liked the Freep commercial (Or was it the Detroit News?) she did a few years ago. I find her Comcast commercials to be somewhat annoying. It seems like she cranked up the charm and personality to the point that she's laying it on a little too thick.

I think she would be a natural playing a Kelly Ripa type role on a morning talk show.

She moves like a bobble head. Very annoying.
Not quite annoying as the Art Van spokesmodel, but in the same vain as the Head On commercial.

Psip-you beat me to it. I told my wife she moves her head around too much, way too animated, like a stage actress who dosen't know how to tone it down for the camera (I do think she's milf-worthy!) I thought Comcast ought to offer a bobble head doll of her to new subscribers.

The Art Van babe was an impulse buy from mervyn's commercials

"hey, why the long face?"

It's certainly relevant to Detroit; this is where the commercials appear. For those of you having sexual fantasies, let me help you tone it down so you can get back to work: do you really want someone, in the throes of passion, screaming "it's Comcastic!"?

I've seen her commercials in Philadelphia, Orlando, and a couple of other cities. My wife thinks she's pig-faced too, but I think she is more annoyed by the smile on my face when I see the commercial.

This chick drives me so crazy that I immediately switch channels as soon as she appears, trying to move fast enough to miss her annoying-ass voice and it's obnoxious fakey tone. Problem is, more and more, I switch channels and she's THERE, TOO! Please make her go away.

What annoys me the most about her is that she tries to talk with that fake smile through the whole commercial. I'm sure she's a nice person, though.
