"The On-Deck Circle will be operated by SportService, the exclusive fine dining and concessions provider at Comerica Park."

...

"A limited menu of hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken tenders and French fries, will be served on game days."

That's classy!

I guess they thought they could make more money that way. I wonder if 5th Ave. will try to locate somewhere else downtown?

I hope that they do. I only went to the one downtown, and like I stated on a previous thread, they had some fine honeys there (lol).

I went to the ballgame on Monday (4/16) and walked over that way to warm up, but a sign on the door said they wouldn't open until this weekend.

I remember seeing banners in that area after Comerica opened talking about "Ty Cobb's Bar" or something similar opening soon, but that never materialized.

Ilitch tried to make Comerica a drinking/ dining destination beyond just a ballpark since it opened and has failed miserably. McDonald's couldn't even stay open there. I'm not sure how Leo's is doing, but they seem to close on game days after about the fifth inning.

Was closed on a tuesday night for the game. The comerica rep up on the suite level, said it will only be open on weekends, but might change later in the season.
