I just heard on the news that Detroit Pistons Basketball Player Chris Webber is backing a major hotel/convention center on Chicago's Southside at 55th & State...a run down area of the Bronzeville neighborhood. I also know that Magic Johnson has a highrise going up on South State Street in Chicago as well. Does anyone know of any projects being backed in Detroit by Chris Webber?

I'm not knocking Chris Webber at all, becasue at the end of the day it's only business of course and it's all about making money. I was just wondering if he has any big deals going on here in Detroit.
