I just got online... Thanks Digitaldom... but there is another on here.... 56packman... he knows his theatres as well, especially theatre organs. He's even was lucky enough to visit the man in Racine Wisconsin who purchased the Michigan Theatre's fabulous 5 console Wurlitzer Organ, and had it set up in his rather spacious home. That man bought the instrument as a young man (back in 1956), and is still alive and kicking... and still has the organ. 56packman had the rare good fortune to hear the former Michigan organ first hand. |
