Why can't the city just fund greyhound passes for the homeless from Detroit to Florida. It would be the humanitarian thing to do so the homeless wouldn't have to deal with the dangerous winters.

The DPD should pull over everyone that does not wear a seat belt. Crack down on small crimes and see what turns up.

Would seat belt tickets create revenue for the city? Just arrest the felons. Ticket the rest.

For a local fugitive, she doesn't look half bad.

No SS..she looks like she'll slice your throat in your slumber. Anyone that smiles like that during a mug shot can't be trusted.

Richard Michael Moore sounds like "big" trouble. Crime: conspiracy to distribute marijuana.

Annette is wanted for conspiracy to launder money. So what do they have on her? A tape recording of a telephone call? Or her boyfriend's testimony?

The first guy, Arlequin-Sanchez, is wanted for conspiracy to distribute. The three Nguyens are wanted for marijuana conspiracy; Betancourt conspiracy/possession marijuana.

Some of these guys are charged with "conspiracy to distribute" but they don't say what. One guy is charged just with conspiracy.

Is this the best the DOJ can do? I thought Detroit's crime scene was much worse than this. How do they plan to make these conspiracy charges stick?

(

What police know about a suspect and what they can charge a suspect with are two completely different things. They'll charge a murderer with just about anything that will stick to get him off the streets. Al Capone was only charged with tax evasion but I wouldn't call him small time. I'm not saying that all the people on that list are serial killers but those charges are probably just the tip of the iceberg.

Or maybe at least some of these people have friends who play the old rat-on-someone-else-and-stay-o ut-of-jail game so popular in law enforcement. I'm not saying that these people are all angels, but I think there's a tendancy to try to pin as many crimes on someone as possible just to clear the blotters. There's a lot of "if he did this, then he'd do anything" way of thinking in the public at large.

And it's the DEA page, but marijuana? and conspiracy? No wonder prosecutors love stupid juries.
