After a long hard road and some false starts, Downtown Eph McNally's will officially open tomorrow at 608 Woodward Ave. I am told it will be a soft opening, not some grand opening with a lot of hoopla, so fighting a mad rush of people hopefully won't be a problem tomorrow. This location will be open 7 days a week from 10 am to 8 pm. This is a great addition to downtown! I'm going to try and stop in tomorrow not only to show my support, but to fill my hunger for McNally's I've had these past few days.

Good to hear, better (8ish months) late than never.

I'm shocked and thrilled if those turn out to be the hours they choose to keep. Better than the Corktown original AND open on Sunday. Weekend food options just got a lot better downtown.

As for pictures. I haven't been down that way in awhile, but I'm sure the Model D story from last summer still applies:

I'm going to stop in tomorrow before the FSC get together at the Well if anybody is interested. I'll probably get there around 6:30-7.

I'm a regular with just one stop.

Good vibe, same great food and "On the Campus Martius" right on the menu.

This place is going to rock...healthy food at a reasonable price in the middle of it all.

Takeout carried into the park for some live music on the warmer weekdays JUST got even better.

It'll take awhile before the new location can amass the historical techno sticker collection the Corktown one has.

I love those little three story buildings tucked in there around the large 1920s high rises. Interesting juxtaposition of Detroit before and after 1920.
