Does anyone on the southwest side know if St. Stevens Lutheran Church closed or not? I know the School closed and the Building sold to secular group.

Anyone?

St. Stevens Lutheran Church is indeed open. Just last Tuesday they hosted their annual Shrove Tuesday Fish Fry.

I'll have check with my Mom if she still has the 75th Anniversary Booklet from there.

I was in 7th or 8th grade in the school at the time.

The thing I remember well were the 9:30 am German language services each Sunday, same time as Sunday School.
