Great Organization, Detroit could use a few more people like John George. Some have called him a bit of an opportunist, but I've always known him as a pretty straight shooter. And theres no denying the positive impact he's had on the city, specifically Brightmoor.

Not to mention Old Redford.
John George is perhaps the last person that I know who still lives in OR. He has put a couple decades of his life into making the city a better place.
His current project, the Artist's Village, on the Redford Theater Block, is creating affordable studio space for artists and an arts education program for kids in the neighborhood.
Detroit could use ten thousand more John Georges.
And John, of course, could use ten thousand more volunteers like Jcd.
