I don't get it though it says 07' passed 06' in ridership but 07' was like 296,312 or something like that as 06 was 300,023 or something

Maybe the final totals for 2007 auto show aren't all in yet...

The public days were up. Charity/media/industry preview days were down.

Perhaps their logic is that since the average American waistline has increased, their total mass moved during the course of the year was higher...even with 90k or so fewer riders.

Those closing hours on the weekend have been in effect since summer of 2006, if I'm not mistaken.

Hmmm... having the PM stay open later makes sense on one hand and then no on another.

I'm not so sure I'd want to be on the PM with a handful of staggering drunks at 2:30!

Such the dilemma!

Another factor in the expanded ridership (aside from the obvious of just more people downtown). Is we have finally had the first couple years of having the people mover running it's full loop with the Ren Cen station back.

This summer I was on the people mover leaving Envy, heading to Greektown at 1:58 am....at everystop in between their was a police officer/guard asking where I was going. I guess they mean it when they say it closes at 2:00 !

I think those were a Super Bowl motif if I recall correctly. Dress up the line and what not, as the building behind it didn't have too much going on.

Yep. Then, by summer, half of the lights were out haha. They were eventually fixed though. Looks kinda neat lit up at night
