According to the article, occupancy is now 65%.

IN September, I was told occupancy was near 60%.

But do we know who those new tenants are? No, but then I have not yet gotten my haircut this month so I will see Sammy in the Dime Building in a week, and will get the low-down on who has moved in,and/or who might be moving out.

the tenants are listed....

"H&R Block Financial Advisors Inc. has renewed its lease for 10 years on 100,000 square feet of office space to house its Detroit headquarters, said Waad Nadhir, CEO of Bosc Equities L.L.C., the owner of the Dime Building.

H&R Block was Bosc's first significant tenant after Nadhir's company spent $30 million to restore and upgrade the building in 2002. It was built in 1913.

The U.S. Social Security Administration signed a new 10-year lease for 15,000 square feet. NORR/Giffels L.L.C. has leased 8,200 square feet and Hartford Insurance renewed its lease for 1,905 square feet.

Also, the Bank of New York nearly doubled its leased office space in the building from 4,777 square feet to 8,374 square feet.

The engineering firm DMJM H&N moved to a new suite of more than 1,400 square feet and extended its lease.

Not that I mind.....but what is the purpose of the Bank of New York's offices? It's not like they have branches all over the Metro area.

Cool Cwl704! I saw those a while ago, but it's fun to see that you post here.

How many of the new things moving into the Dime are from other buildings downtown?

Jasoncw..this is now one of my fav. sites..will be posting here alot I'm sure in the future.I have done alot of work in downtown Detroit to help in it's comeback that I am proud of.when I saw the post here on the Dime building and it reminded of the 4 months I worked there during the remodel.Spending all that time there inspired me to do it in brick so I thought I would post pictures of it here. Thanks again
