LANSING, Mich. -- The Detroit River is just one of several sites included in the next wave of Michigan's historical markers.

Other sites to be memorialized include Big Rock Point on Little Traverse Bay, a Civil War camp in Jackson, and a former Dodge auto factory in Hamtramck.

Sometimes, I think, they go just a little goofy with these "historical markers".

They might consider a historical marker on jjaba.
