I was reading "The Origins of the Urban Crisis" and stumbled across more info on the Hotel Gotham on John R. Information on it was sought here, but the topic was closed: https://www.atdetroit.net/forum/mes sages/91697/98897.html

"Hotelier A.G. Wright made his fortune through his ownership of Detroit's Hotel Gotham, known for providing luxurious accommodations for black travelers who were closed out of Detroit's white-owned hotels." (pg. 188)
