The Wings proceed to the next round of the Playoffs, the Pistons also continue to hammer the Bulls and the Tigers win 8 in a row. Not too many cities can boast this... |

Yeah maybe 40 miles west there's a team that will go all the way. The Lions? Ha! Nonetheless, it is an amazing time for our teams. I'm hoping for at least two teams to go all the way (the Tigers being one of them). |

What was the last city to realistically have a shot at three major sport championships? |

For the most part, our local teams can bring in great players because....we have great fans. Also, despite the economy right now, we live in a great Metro Area. A good portion of players, after retirement, stay in the area. |

The 1993-1994 Rangers won the Stanley Cup The 1993-1994 Knicks went seven against the Rockets in the Finals and the 1994 Yankees had the best record in the AL when the season was cut short by the player's strike |

St. Louis! The St. Louis Rams won the Super Bowl in 1999. The Cardinals finished in first place in 2000 and the Blues finished first in hockey in 2000 as well. Unfortunately for St. Louis fans, the Cards and Blues didn't win their respective championships. |

Well, _sj_ there are 40 useless bowl games and only 1 meaningful one. However, lots of the experts predict UM to have a shot at being there. Tigers + Wings + UM football championships would be the best possible scenario for me. I'm not passionate about the Pistons, but I guess it make the area even cooler if they won too. |
