Modati ( http://modati.com/ ), an ann arbor based cloting company, is opening up a store front/gallery on April 14th:

Reform, a community based project aimed at directly confronting our consumer culture and reconnecting our experiences with the garments we wear, invites you to participate. Starting 1 p.m. Saturday, April 14th, Alexander Lee and Modati Clothing will be opening their studio to the public, please come with an article of clothing, materials, experiences and ideas. We will share freely.

Modati is providing free silk-screens so you can create you own stencils! Basically we're asking you to bring in old clothes and together we'll rework them via sewing machines, silk-screening and creativity.

Check out our website (modati.com), Alexs website (alexmadethis.com/reform) or contact me for more information.
Date: Saturday, April 14, 2007
Time: 12:00pm - 3:00pm
