BusinessWeek article

Denver Business Journal report

I know that artists have been doing this for ages, and Detroit's studio spaces such as 555 Gallery is a strong proof that it works well.

How about technology workers, such as programmers, software developers, web designers, database architects, and so on ? Is this a West Coast cultural concept that will help Detroit become more appealing to tech talents ? Please share your thoughts.

I think the most similar thing in Metro Detroit is the Southfield Library. That place is just amazing. There is a pretty strong out-of-office work culture in Metro Detroit right now.
