What's the story with that place? Are they open? What are their hours? And mostly, are they really fresh? |

I drove by that place when I was home during the holidays. It was good to see another restaurant on the Wayne State campus. |

If anyone hasn't tried this franchise...I first found them in California, they absolutely and totally ROCK. The Fresh in their name is NOT a lie. Can't wait for another great option for eats. |

Would have to second Gannon on this one. Good stuff -- and good value. Unless people are going to start bitching about spending $8 on lunch again (I am looking at you Susanarosa -- I know, I know "eyes up here") |

Didn't know Susanarosa was such a cheap date, that Beav guy is pretty lucky. |

There is nothing cheap about susanarosa -- we like to call it "value". And, after a lifetime of having the football pulled away as he is about to kick it, I dare say that it is about time for some good fortune for thebeav. |

No, it's entirely possible that I was wrong! Friends were seeking a "healthy" takeout idea. Matt told me there was one there. |

I actually like Pizzeria Venti. There used to be one in GP on Mack, owned by James Maniscalco. I was excited to see it was coming to campus. http://www.pizzeriaventi.com/ |

The one at WSU seems to be moving ahead VERY slowly. I walked by for the first time in 6 months or more the other day. They seem to be quite a ways from opening still, though they've had the sign up for probably a year or longer. Same for the TCBY yogurt place going in there. |

The Pizzeria Venti @ Wayne State opened last week. They did a great job on the buildout -- lots of seating, plus some couches and lounge chairs w/ plugs for laptops. Pizza by the slice (many kinds), stuffed pizza pies, pasta, soups, salads, desserts, coffee/expresso/etc. Menu is at the website: www.pizzeriaventi.com It's @ 655 W Kirby; 313-831-2810 or Skype: pizzeriaventi. Mon-Thurs 10am-10pm, Fri-Sat 10am-11pm, Sun 11am-8pm. |
