Has anyone gone out on the Detroit Princess yet that would care to provide a review? I was thinking of booking a trip on it for a night out with a friend.

Thanks!

I had a tour of the boat, it is very nicely done, but I have not had dinner or a cruise.

I know of 4 people who have done it and said it is definitely worth the money. Fantastic views and the food is pretty good as well.

Me and the Mrs. will be going on an excursion later in August.

I was in a party of 11 on Saturday night. This is a wonderful summer thing to do. The views of the city were beautiful from the water. It was interesting to watch the skyline and a perspective of the buildings that you just don't get from anywhere but the water. The food was pretty good, not amazing. We skipped the provided entertainment since our table was seated over the engines and it was quite warm. In fact, we took our plates of food from the 2nd level deck up to the 4th deck which has half of the deck area setup with tables and chairs and open to the elements. Views just weren't as good in the dining cabins. The people, both crew and guests, helped make it a fun evening. People were having a good time, and it had that ripple effect.
