Anyone who is of Lithuanian descent - my Grandparents came over in 1920 with my Father and his 3 siblings.

My husband's family is Lithuanian. Came over in 1949.

That is 2 reporting - used to be a huge community in Hamtramck and in SW Detroit. My family is from Hamtramck.

Went to School with many Lith's in SW Det. in the 50's-60's Many have moved out to Oakland County and attend a church in, I think, Berkley/Pleasant Ridge area. The old church on W. Vernor and 25th closed years ago.

There's a Lithuanian church at Nine Mile and Beech Daly....Divine Providence.

I heard about the Lithuanian Church on 9 Mile, never been there.

StepGrandfather is Lithuanian?? Hey, what the heck, sure it counts!

Dad 1905...100% Lithuanian (born Glasgow Scotland)
Mom 1906...100% Lithuanian (born Portage, PA)
Both long deceased.
