How can anyone lurk for 5 years without giving his or her opinion or memories of things? I find it impossible. Well, I sometimes(no, always) think my views are important. I just don't always finish my posts. I erase them. Silly. I should erase this one.

Anyhow, welcome 'King. Can't wait to hear what your views are or if you have any memories that you want to share. Good luck! K

Welcome Detroitking!

Five years, wow! I can relate though. I'm sure you have a ton to contribute. I look forward to reading your posts.

This is an amazing web site, and an amazing city. It's a shame it took you five years to make your first post, but whatever, your here now. This board is full of great people (well... at least I post here, so that's one... :-) just kidding). I would really encourage more of our lurkers to at least register and make those first few posts. Introduce yourself, and come out to some of the social events. Just jump it, it's worth it!Trust me, you'll meet so many new and interesting people. It's worth it.

Anyway...

Detroitking,

Would love to hear more about you! What is your favorite ruin? Mine would definately be either MCS or the GAR. What about your favorite semi recent revitalization project? I would say mine, but I'd have to decide first. Anyone else can feel free to mention something about themselves too! Introduce yourselves. Maybe you have some advice for DY's newest member? Hmmmm, I would have to say watch out for LivernoisYards pessimism. Of course I'm sure he would say something similar about my "blind" optimism. LOL!

Again, welcome!

I'm guessing they mean Martin Luther King High School in Detroit.

Correct?

Reminds me of the Procrastinators Club I was going to join, but they keep postponing the meeting.
