Don't have any plans this Friday or Saturday evening? Then check out Wayne State's 8th annual Moving Media student film festival.

The various judges from the Detroit area film community were deeply impressed with the quality of the work submitted, and as the judging progressed, they had a most difficult time ranking one film above another. The finalists are as follows:

That particular film won "Best Narrative" last night at the awards ceremony.

And I hear that it's going to be shown this Thursday, May 15 at Park Bar, hourly from 9pm to Midnight.

Even without me as one of the alumni judges, it still won. A true testament to it's cinematic excellence.
