As you guys probably know, the woman's USBC is being held in Detroit this year. My fiancee's bowling in it both tonight and tomorrow. I was wondering if anyone else from here is competing, or knows people that are?
I'm not sure if it's going to be televised. It's not a huge event, but ESPN's sequel channels seem to be at everything these days. If it is, root for Kally. |

Nobody eh? I really didn't realize how big this event really is. I've been told it's the largest woman's sporting event in the world. Unfortunately it's actually in Canton. Although, it's advertised as Detroit, and Greektown has shuttle service to and from the event.
Since no one else seems to be going (although it doesn't really end until July), I'll try and post a review when I have time. It's been years since I've really been out here. I got a new perspective on sprawl, as well as our national image. Plus, there are some strange things going on in our suburbs right now... |
