i have an first gen imac that is in complete working order, and i'm looking for someplace to donate it. i'll just end up recycling it otherwise

I've dropped off monitors at the Salvation Army in RO, if they don't want it, the Madison Heights incinerator is where you take it to be recycled.

Check out some daycares, if it is still working there are several that would be happy to accept it for the kids.
