I don't know what to say, this has been a banner week for me...leading up to the start of a curious year. Helped setup and produce two ground-breaking performances...one at my friend Audra Kubat's house and the other at the Detroit Film Center for the beginning of their annual MediaCity series...started my voice-over career Thursday interviewing a fellow for his website...then just returned from finding out I made the credits for a friend's stage performance of Tracy Letts' Bug (for making their prop phone ring, sat down the row from Steve Wilson and his lovely other half)...(there are two performances of this play at the Ringwald Theater in Ferndale, tomorrow afternoon and Monday night's closing, I highly recommend it to anyone wanting a powerful, odd distraction from life...well done by all, kept us rapt until the last spark.) ...and now this. I'd say the natural solution to severe clinical depression has finally set in, and I've found my rhythm and groove. You will be hearing from me less, because I will be too busy to post. I'm floored. Supersport hasn't posted but three times in six months, so it's not like I've been prolific. Not so worried about Cc, I'm sure their budget per post is tightening...Karl's been monitoring his output and it's been lagging. I didn't even have to pretend he was dead, either. Oh, to have verbal sparring partners like Karl again, he got me to misbehave so horribly on the way to attempting to do good. For that, I once again apologize. 'Nuf said, we've got music to make here. Jean Wilson is bringing over her banjo, we need to see if our newly strung Dobro can keep up. I just counted through this list of the top fifty posters, and realized I have met exactly half of you...and not only would we recognize each other on the street, I'd go well out of my way to help any of you however you'd need. I consider you my neighbors, here and in real life...as Lowell likes to say. I'm honored to have met those I have, even those who have bumped into my flaws and inconsistencies...especially so, actually. I am going to take some time to right some wrongs from my extended sabbatical that has largely been documented here. It is going to take a considerable amount of effort and focus...using a few muscles I've let atrophy. I'm sure I'll be around to let you know how I do.
