My family has a bunch of old 8mm movies we want to transfer to DVD. I'd like any recommendations for a local place that you have reason to think would do a good job.

We had this done quite awhile ago by a shop near Laurel Park Place, NE corner of Six Mile and Newburgh, but I can't remember the name of it. There are lots more places around now. I found this SE Michigan site with a lot of info. I really recommend getting this done, it makes a great collection.

Transfer Zone in Oak Park has been providing transfer services for over 30 years.
Had several jobs done there.
