john mccain's campaign site lists a fundraising reception in detroit on the 12th; does anyone know where it's going to take place?

romney's site was not very helpful, i wasn't able to figure out if he was coming to town.

in the d proper? They are Republicians afterall. They will concentrate on the West side of the State. McCain will be in Waterford this afternoon for a rally at the Oakland County airport. Both have events scheduled in the Grand Rapids area.

Neither candidate needs Detroit nor can Detroit be counted on for either candidate.
They are better off spending their time garnishing votes in the Grand Rapids area.

Thanks Kathleen... more proof that holding the primary early is bringing more attention, money and influence to Michigan.
