Hello All,

There is a Detroit Synergy Meeting regarding Historic Tax Credits today. The meeting is to generate ideas for a related project. Some proposed ideas have been,

1. A forum discussing uses of the Tax Credit
2. A Debate of the Pros and Cons of the Tax Credit

But the team is looking for more ideas. Hope some of you folks can make it out.

Depending on what goes on in Lansing, there may not be a need for this.

What exactly is DSG's experience with and relation to State Historic Preservation Tax Credits? What is the "related project"?

We have no "relation" to the Tax Credits.

Some interested folks attended the last general meeting and said that they would like to start to project related to them.

As for what that project will be is open for discussion at this meeting. Some of the thoughts are included in the above post. I encourage you to attend the meeting and share your insight.

There's this pretty cool dish that involves layers of Jell-o, sour cream, and tax credits. If you get it just right, you can see the tax credits jiggle in among the ribbons of Jell-o.

I don't know how you have accomplished this but your reply only makes me feel less informed to the purpose of this event.
