This should be interesting....

"William F. Coleman III, superintendent of Detroit Public Schools, will find out Tuesday if he’s a candidate to keep his job. Detroit's school board announced that it will name five finalists for the position at 10 a.m. Tuesday. If Coleman is not on the list, he will lose his job running the state's largest school district when his term expires in June."

Every Detroit parent needs to be at Thursday's Board meeting at Southwestern to voice their concerns about the final list of candidates. This is the result of a national search? Snead??? Give me a break!

Why has there been no mention of bringing former military brass on board to clean up this mess? And where is the diversity in the candidate pool? Many other major cities seem to be embracing this concept:

Wanted: Schools Chief With Zero Experience
L.A. is one of many large urban districts that have turned to non-educators for a fresh perspective.

"And where is the diversity in the candidate pool?"

Does bringing diversity to Detroit mean hiring more than a token number of Caucasians?

What a bunch of loser re-treads. Just put all their names in a big clown hat and pick a winner (loser). Whatever.

Detroit doesn't want true change. It is just easier to talk about it.

If Snead gets the job I predict Matt Millen will get fired and in a few years then get re-hired after the Lions go 0-16.
