I am trying to find out about Non-profit boundaries in the city and having a hard time finding out where they start and stop. Is there any website that I can contact or any website that may have a map of particularly housing nonprofits in the D. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

huh?

most nonprofits do not serve a narrow geographic neighborhood. Are you thinking about CDC's?

According to most national chain retail operations, the entire city is nonprofitable.

Maybe you meant that you would like to see maps of the target areas of Detroit foundation and nonprofit efforts. That would be available by clicking on the "Good Neighborhoods Initiative" map available here:

http://www.datadetroit.org/too ls/interactivemaps.asp

You may have to click on "accept" to accept the privacy notice and see the maps choices. If so, click accept and select the map I indicated. You can turn on/off various nonprofit investment areas by selecting them in the pain at left.

There are the "Empowerment Zones" as well. That should be available from the city or any realtor

Community Development Advocates of Detroit has a pretty comprehensive map.
