Wave
Bye, Bye
Tiger Stadium is coming down. According to sources the Old Ball Park will be demolished in January with a new developer slated to come in by March 2007. No word on whether Bobby Ferguson, the mayor's pal will get this demolition contract. The stadium tear down could be making way for a new hockey arena.

What's Up ?

More Layoffs?
According to sources the city has struck with another round of layoffs this one hitting the now defunct recrreation department. Reports say that 60-90 employees were given their pink slips and shown the door. Still residents are left wondering where Detroit is as far as its deficit is concerned but no answers are coming from Mayor Kilpatrick or City Council. However, its pretty apparent that there is an effort to hide how large the debt is or if the city is in fact already broke. Look for more cuts and new ways to tax the people as the silence coming from City Hall grows.

Bishop Butler missing
Have you noticed that Bishop Keith Butler has been doing radio AD's for Proposal 3 which is about dove hunting but he's been missing on Proposal 2, the affirmative action ban. During his campaign for U.S. Senate he said he supported affirmative action but that was contrary to his opinions of past years where he opposed it. He didn't mislead the voters did he?

Could Reeves Be Gone?
The Call'Em Out group has completed its petition drive to recall City Councilwoman Martha Reeves. According to information received they collected more than enough signatures to place the issue before the voters. The petition signatures will be filed this week.

And, Firejerryo is nothing more than a rumor mill and hearsay, itself, but a lot of rumors are rooted in truth.

History has shown that Call 'Em Out couldn't successfully recall a jelly donut. Good luck going after Martha Reeves.
