I went for the first time today to Marcus. Did they used to be a chain? I noticed they have been copywrighted since 1923(?) A good but strange burger seemed like meatloaf. Any good stories from anyone??? |

The one at 14 and Ryan is much cleaner. And they still have their air conditioner. |

Is this the place that makes or made hamburgers in a rolled shape and put them in hotdog buns. My mom told me about some hamburger place that did that? awhile back. |

It was an interesting experience when i ate there with a friend. The burger reminded me a bit of an Olga burger without the fancy. |

Blakeney's Ranch House, originally on Davison near Dexter, later in Farmington Hills, now gone, used to make a similar burger. |

Tarkus: I think another visit is in order. Generally places such as Marcus always have old photos and newspaper clippings on the wall or a short history on the back of the menu. If that isn't the case, then chat up the staff!! I searched high and low but am not seeing any website or other historical info on the web other than the basics. |
