Thanks guys, if you look through some of the older posts from this week, you'll see some pictures from my trip if you're interested :-)

I didn't post it here though since Berlin isn't Detroit related...

AIW---You went all the way to Berlin when you could just hop in your old Mercury Marquis and drive to Kitchener-Waterloo for the best Oktoberfest in all the world? I think it's going on there right now.

Na, Kitchener isn't Berlin. Hasn't been since about 1916. When Andrew was listing the cities he was visiting on his website, I thought maybe he was touring southeastern Ontario....

Welcome home, Andrew. We missed you. jjaba even got a postcard from AIW. Fantzy that.

jjaba flew recently, Rochester, NY to Chicago and because of Buffalo weather in Buffalo, NY, we diverted to London, Ontario airspace under control of Irish-sounding controlers. Is it normal to divert over Canada? And why do you have Irishmen in the tower, eh?

jjaba, oy.

The Rock has been out enough to know that if you took M-32 East out of Gaylord, you would travel through both Vienna and Johannesburg. Work your way south before you get to Atlanta and you would drive into Luzerne.
So there, wise guy.

International Diversions are normal down here. In the winter, bad weather has seen the Toronto to Windsor flight diverted to Cleveland.

Thread jacking: what happens after January 1 when that Toronto to Windsor flight ends up in Cleveland and the Canucks on board do not have passports?

I am sure this question will keep the members of Congress up at night....

Speaking of Mother-related buildings, the "MOM" building on East Jefferson near St. Jean has been torn down.
