Liked the line about "the crappy Mariners". Well, they're MY crappy Mariners and we were glad to help. 6-2 Detroit on Labor Day.

Thanks for the great news Douglasm. Nobody should diss another MLB team, expecially when that fan is a Forum member. But it sounds like your "Crappy Little Pissant Mariners" got their lunch handed to them in Detroit.

We all hope the results are the same tomorrow.
Serves them right with a Japanese owner coming into Detroit as if we didn't notice the Mitsubichi bus and all their gear made in Japan.

As for AIW, nice pictures from your shitty Skyline View seat. Well, atleast you could see your Windsor home while watching the game through binoculars, eh.

jjaba, LOL.

We know, AIW paid a good $5.00 USD for the seat, $295 Canadian.
Did AIW take the Tunnel Bus or go by Oakland Mall after the game?
Is AIW the onliest Canadian Tigers Fan other than London's Joe Kool?
jjaba.

Ya sure, you betcha Jjaba. But I'm looking at my crappy Mariners in the same way that the Tigers SHOULD have been looked at last year. A solid core of players that need one or two pitchers to make them contenders. And remember, we're in the AL Worst. The AL East should worry a bit about Tampa Bay. They find a pitcher or two and they're gonna be trouble......

Jjaba snorted:

I won't dignify that slap with the necessary math. Y'know J, it's time to go make fun of someone else's currency.

Watching my Yankee penny rolls depreciate in Ottawa.

AIW--man, you must have been about two sections over from us, judging from the first shot--we were in 340 at the very top, row 20. I got my tickets for $6 ea, upper reserved. Great game, great day.

Well, the crappy Mariners got their revenge. 4-3 Seattle. Got to admit it was nice to see rain. Out here, we've pretty much forgotten what it looks like, and we've got the forest fire haze to prove it.....

Does anyone else think the fake windows on the new Broderick tower ad are sort of weird?

I'm not really sure why, it just strikes me as odd.

Though I must say, I like the new ad, its way better then the bobble heads.

OK, now that Seattle's out of town (5-4 M's in 10), the Tigers have my permission to start a 12 game winning streak.
