This building is in the cluster of buildings that make up St. Frances D’Assisi Catholic Church on Wesson and Buchanan on the Westside. It is directly across the street from the Rectory but I don’t know what this building is or is called. Can someone help me out identifying this building? Livedog2 |

It's across Wesson from the church, correct? It's their parish hall. |

Yes, it's directly across the street (Wesson) and to the west of the church and next door to the Parish Center. Thanks, Mikem! Gawd, what a beautiful church. I thought the architecture looked familiar. It was designed by the same firm that designed St. Stanislaus on the Eastside, Kastler & Hunter in 1905. Livedog2 |

How does Mikem know all this stuff? How does he have copies of the City Directory from way back? How does he find out who the taxpayer is on properties? How does he know every building on Central Ave.and then everything on Buchanan?I wish I could do/have everything that Mikem does/has!!! But, failing that, I'm glad he's made his knowledge and resources available! |

Thanks, Mikem! Yes, you are an amazing resource. I wish I could tour the Civil War battlefields with you, Jjaba and Hornwrecker! What a great experience that would be!!! Livedog2 |
