Patterson not fined for breaking finance law The Secretary of State's Office says Oakland County Executive L. Brooks Patterson violated campaign finance law while battling to repeal the Single Business Tax. Under an agreement signed this month, Patterson said he'd stop using county resources to promote the political issue. He was not fined. Oakland County Commissioner David Woodward complained in March that Patterson used county staff, letterhead and Web links to promote the repeal, which was approved by the Legislature this month. | ||

Considering you flipped out when the late Andy posted a link to PUBLIC RECORD of a lawsuit against LeVan Hawkins, bleating out non sequitur about innocent until proven guilty and the like, I would think you would be more careful about accusing public officials of crimes said public officials haven't even been rumored of committing.
