I am a first year law student at Wayne State. I am looking for anybody who can provide me a ticket to one game in each series that the Tigers play in this post-season in exchange for $5000 of legal services @ $300/hr effective as soon as I graduate and become licensed. In the event that I will not be adept in your peticular legal needs, I will pay you $5000 dollars cash over a time period of my descretion after I graduate. Please, somebody consider, I really want to go to a playoff game!

I dunno, this early prostituting oneself for personal gain might make for a darn fine attorney.

Blatant promotion, laying it on the line without remorse or shyness...yeah, I think law school was a good choice!

I just love the assumption of graduating and passing the bar...how many years ahead of schedule?!

You have nothing to offer; services which require skills not yet in your possession, and money that you do not have, money which, at whatever point you may acquire it, you have the audacity to suggest would be repaid at your discretion. (Please note correct spelling of that particular word.)

Yeah, that's why I said 3 years down the road. This was meant to put more focus on my love of baseball than anything else. Congrats Ravine, you may just have won the prize for world's biggest asshole.

I think you're going to have a better chance of seeing a playoff game if you try parachuting into the stadium.

Good luck.

LOL@ Hornwrecker.

Tndetroiter, give it up. This is ridiculous. Get a milk crate and stand on it outside the fence. You'll be looking at the game between people, but you are still near the excitement and it's free.

If that view is too low, well there's the Broderick Tower.

They'll put up black tarps along the fence like they did during the All-Star game, that's not viable.

Damn, I was going for the World's Biggest Asshole title and it was stolen from me!

Although, mere mention of it DID bring Manrooter out of his dry spell pretty quickly...I'm not sure I want the notoriety.

Of course, we don't know what'll happen if he hears about the world's smallest asshole...but yes, Tn, 'rooter is a man's man. He's pretty tame (at least in public), and has been around for a long time here.

Tn, we're just funnin' ya...damn straight you sticking to your guns in the face of blatant obstacles...keep on that law path.

Just don't let them know about your love of baseball or anything...your classmates will find a way to use that against you.

You've had Unfair Advantage 101 already, right?!

I always thought that was taught in the first year...

A few of my friends and I have the 21 game package. We are going to be buying the playoff package, but might not go to all the games. If I sell any I will be posting it in the Classified Ads section of this forum. So, be on the lookout closer to October.

Tn now has a hard-on, which will last the whole day after he reads Baltgar's post.

Of course, the thought of this will only enrage Manrooter further along in HIS quest...

...this IS getting interesting.

Ravine, please post a photo of your "light hearted manor". I'm picturing a Tudor Revival, lightly touched with a heart motif. Sounds lovely.

TnD, I'd like to avail myself of some of your future legal services. I have plans to take a few art classes and then create abstract art pieces valued at $20,000. That should cover 66.7 hours of your legal services at your assumed $300 bill rate.

Of course, if my abstract art piece-to-be clashes with the decor in your dorm room/apartment I will pay you $20K cash when it strikes my fancy.

Are you available early next week for a few depositions and interrogatories?

Alas, my reign as World's Biggest Asshole was short-lived. I guess it was a lot like Leon Spinks temporarily holding the title of Heavyweight Champion of the World; everyone knew that Ali was really still The Greatest.

LOL...as everyone is picturing Tndetroiter as Manrooters cabana boy...

Tn... I know you are serious, but it comes off as rather presumptuous since you have a lot of hoops to jump thru before you can come thru on your end of the bargain. But you do get an "A" for effort! :-)

So instead of paying $100 for a playoff ticket, you'll pay $5,000 in the future? What in the world? Haha.
