Hi everyone! Longtime reader first time poster...anyway so i've been living in Detroit (you can guess where) for some time now but maybe i'm just unblissfully unaware or severely stumped but can anyone recommend a late night coffee house around new center/midtown/downtown? I know about Beans 'N' Bytes but maybe one with a bit more of a jazzier intimate type deal. I know these conditions are kinda vague, but i figured there must be something some one knows about. Any help would be appreciated and i am looking forward to chatting with you all. | ||

I've had the same problem. I think there is one in Birmingham that's open 24 hours. | ||

Starbucks in Birmingham on Woodward closes at 11-12.. no more 24 hrs.. there is always Baskin Robbins/ Dunkin Donuts on Woodward and 9 mile.. they have coffee :-D 24 hrs... but I can't think of anything in the city | ||

I think Vas was talking about the indie coffee shop next to the Birmingham theater... as for 24 hour Starbucks, there's one in Dearborn, west end of downtown Westborn. | ||

the Birmingham one is Java Hut...they have a Ferndale location too, next to the "Just for Us" store on 9 mile west of Woodward. THey are 24 hour. I heard someone saying they were opening a 24hr coffee shop in Detroit, but idk when/where Ill check it out but idk...isnt there one in the Park Shelton building on the Woodward side? how late is that open till | ||

there will be a 24 hour coffee house opening at the former people´s record store off capitol park. not sure when it will open though.. |
