Shortly after the demo contract is signed. i.e. Nobody knows yet. Last I heard they were just putting together the engineering studies to try and decide what to keep.

Toledo,

That would be a good idea. It would also be an excellent opportunity to highlight what areas will be kept and so on.

And an excellent opportunity for those guys who tried to steal the urinal at the last game to complete their work!

I agree that it would be a great idea, but I'd be very worried about folks pillaging the place if I were running the tour or in charge of selling the stuff off.

Why not let them tour through it after the place is cleaned out for the auction? Sort of like a viewing before a funeral, only you charge people $5 a head to go in and have one more look. Do that over a month and it could generate a little bit more money to help offset demolition costs.

City would probably not go for the tour idea. Liability concerns etc.
Better to remember it as it once was.

Personally, I'm not sure I'd WANT to see the inside now. From the pics I've seen, it looks rather shitty now...

Agreed, would you rather remember a loved one on their deathbed or when they were full of life.

Besides, if ever there was a time to open The Corner up, it was during last summer's All Star Game. They could have had the home run contest there.
