Is there any update to the status of the Fowler building, or the other buildings in the Merchant's row part of Woodward? There was a sign in the Fowler window several months ago advertising condos for sale, but I haven't seen any activity there for a while now. |

Which building is that, Tetsua? Address or exact location? Maybe a photo if you have one! Livedog2 |

I don't have any pictures available, but it's the building directly to the south of "Breakfast House". |

The Fowler Building is at 1229 Woodward Avenue(1221-1239 Woodward). It's between the Merchants Row - Building A (Heyns Bazaar), southern most building in Merchants Row, and the R.H. Traver Building, Romanesque-styled building faced in heavy red sandstone. (far left, photo by forumer Adamjab) (Message edited by lmichigan on July 30, 2006) |

Owner doesn't have the money to develop it. The building has no parking hard to sell something for 200 sq/f when you don't have parking. |

I went inside that Fowler Building for a tour. The owner at that time showed me that model loft and a upcomming resturant. Like Merchantgander said now money and no parking spaces means no loft development. The owner just waisted its investment money and soon he will owner the creditors a lot. So the Fowler building will just have to be vacant eyesore until the bank or a mortage company force the owner to sell the building to another sucker. |

Isn't the CVS parking structure just a few storefronts down? It's not attached parking, but it seems like a viable option. |

The CVS Parking structure is for those who live and work in the Charter One Bank Building. |

Yeah, but there are big banners on the side of it, advertising monthly parking opportunities. |
