Does anyone know what happened to the "Quartah Lady" who later became the "Dollah Lady?"

She was spening a lot of time on the corner of Cass and Warren, but I haven't seen her there in a while. The last few times I saw her I was in Eastern Market.

She was around Fort/Washington for a while but I haven't seen her in a few months. Maybe her strategy of only asking for dollars paid off and she's no longer homeless.

Like MBR, I always saw her around Fort and Washington. The last time I saw her was probably two months ago. I bet she's paid now.

Seriously, I wish her the best and hope all is well.

Funny how everyone nicknamed her the same thing. I guess it was somewhat apropos, though.

Is this the same woman who used spring out from behind the plants at Shelby and Congress, or doorways at Wash Blvd and Congress? "Gotta quatta?" I'd then see her in Mickey's buying paper cups. I saw her nearly every work day during the 1990s, although she didn't like to come out much in cold weather.

Ah yes, the "you got a dollah?" lady that was a staple of the WSU campus. She would stake herself out right on Cass on the sidewalk between State Hall and the Life Sciences building. Every year I was surprised to see her, she always looked like she had one foot in the grave.

I remember seeing her in the Mid 90's when I was working in the Buhl Building.
