I am looking for anyone that has info or may know about a promonate business man of Greek descent with the first name of "Frank" that either managed the Detroit Tank Plant or was a business man in 1945? Any help finding this "needle in a haystack" would be greatly appreciated.

Have you ruled out that he either was:

1.) An officer in the U.S. Army or;
2.) Was in the upper ranks of management of the Chrysler Corporation?

I have no idea. The only information that I have is what I posted. The only additional is that he had a romance with a woman named Irene Mabel.

Migirl-
Tough on; what you've supplied is pretty thin.

If you're really interested in finding out, you could do some research; go to the DPL, and start by reviewing the annual Social Secretary books around 1945. Generally all prominent Detroiter's are listed, and should provide info on job, marital status, club memberships, etc.

Definitely a needle in a haystack tho.

Try finding the book "Tanks and Industry: The Detroit Arsenal, 1940-1954" by Kevin Thornton. Best of luck!

check out the Burton Collection at the Detroit Library, I bet you'll dig out a lot of info there, and they're great help.

In 1945, Detroit had mass transit and YES we can make it happen again.

Click on link below and sign my petition drive and I will personally coordinate all the buses and fill them up. I can promise you this because I know how to do this and did in the western suburbs.

YES, I can fill the buses up all over metro Detroit and if I can't then please tell me. Who can?

Trainman,
You are an IDIOT.

You've done more to hurt your supposed cause than any opponent might ever do.

I ride buses daily, if they run close to on time I'm happy. Your one-trick pony posts make no contribution whatever to improvements direly needed.

Don't hate Trainman, as he is very insecure. Thus the need to self-promote and stroke his own ego. We need to have an intervention with him. Let us pray!!!!!!!!!!

Jams,

Are you afraid of good old fashioned competition?

I can do the job cheaper and better, so publicly challenge me and prove that you are more SMART then I am.

If you can.

I prove that I know more then you on the link below and on every page of my website. So, check out the costs and see if you can do better.
