Hi everyone, I've recently done an interview with Ralph Gilles, the VP of design at Daimlerchrysler who led the team that did the Chrysler 300, Dodge Magnum and Dodge Charger, for a TV station in San Francisco. I was wondering if anyone at all in this community would care to ask him a question about his experiences. You know, who he is, how he works, why he does it, etc. If this inquiry gets good response, I'll investigate doing a supplementary phone interview in which I'll put some of your questions to him. Though not originally from Detroit, he was a graduate of the College for Creative Studies, hiring into Chrysler immediately after graduating. He's been getting a lot of attention recently for his design work, recent promotion to VP and the various awards he's been winning including the President's Award at the Black Engineer of the Year award conference last March. Here's some more info. A real nice guy too. Very smart. http://www.vaniercollege.qc.ca /notablealumni/gilles/slacker_ to_superstar.html http://www.haitianconsulate.or g/car.html http://www.theautochannel.com/ news/2005/11/30/151450.html http://www.exodusnews.com/Busi ness/Business109.htm |
