Posts seem to be permitted for some and deleted for others. Just what was wrong with the Vernonrobinsonforcongress.com post I put up to get it deleted from both boards? I thought I properly credited it by establishing a link as requested in the rules for posting section. Am I being censored? What happened?

Counted 13 posts on here not related to Detroit yet mine was removed. I love holding up a mirror to peoples faces so they see themselves as they truly are. I wouldn't have minded my post about Vernon Robinsons campaign commercial www.vernonrobinsonforcongress. com moved so much if the real reason why was given.

Pacypacy just because you are a jackass doesn't mean anyone is out to get you. The moderators routinely move topic to the appropriate forums.

Ouch, that hurt... another rapier like insult from the all too non-fertile mind of another nameless internet tough guy. If posts are "routinely moved" then explain the other non-Detroit posts on here that were posted prior to mine and still remain. Explain that, I'll be waiting.

Not a moderator you should e-mail Lowell maybe he can clear up your conspiracy theory. Is it really that big of a deal that it was moved to the non-Detroit issues? Did it lose its meaning? You bitching about something so meaningless is what makes you a jackass.

This thread reminds me of the last time I went to a local senior citizens home. I watched and listened to 3 old codgers argue in the lobby about the calendar having the wrong date, and who was responsible for changing it. After 5 minutes, I got up and changed the magnet to the next day. They stared at me dumb-founded as I walked away.

Scan a litle better Jeff. Posts about Dearborn, Windsor, IKEA, Drugs in Oakland County, 1-696 threads, "Torch my ride", Joe Knollenberg, Is London Detroit? (Do I just have to mention Detroit to keep a post on here like this poster did?), The Detroit of Europe? All I'm reading is cheap shots from posters trying to swerve the topic as to why my post was singled out for removal. Any real answers yet from anyone?

Are you kidding? What do all those topics you listed have in common? If you guessed that they all have relevance to Detroit and its surrounding communities, you guessed right!

Somehow I don't see much correlation between Detroit and an Uncle Tom running for Congress in South Carolina

Oh, so now it's "revelance and surrounding communties", not just Detroit. Keep steering, you are backing out nicely, and just why do you consider this man (Vernon Robinson) to be an "Uncle Tom"?

I'm not disputing that. Is this forum for Detroit as stated or is it for "revelance and surrounding communties"?

I'm still waiting for "Blessyouboys" to explain why he considers Vernon Robinson an "Uncle Tom", and where is the outcry from this politically correct crowd on this board over his slur? Does this board allow racial slurs?

I'm still waiting to find out the reason why my post was singled out for removal. Any answers to those questions yet?

Pacypacy, Vernon Robinson can be seen as an "Uncle Tom" because he is black and he is a republican. Most blacks in this country are democrats. Also, although the term "Uncle Tom" is unflattering, it is not a racial slur.

Merchantgander quote: Pacy answer my question did you e-mail Lowell or would you rather just bitch and moan like a 12 year old school girl.

I certainly don't answer to you and as far as a 12 year old girl look in the mirror. I'm asking questions and the best you can do is use words like "Jacka**" and "Bit*h" now that's REAL mature...for a 9 year old.

Susanarosa Quote:It wasn't removed, it's on the non-Detroit issues board.
Now shut-up ya freakin' troll.

Again, I am asking questions, you want a 12 year old girl just read Susanarosa's quote, I think I found one for you. Sue meet Merchantgander, Merchantgander meet Susanarosa.

Royce Quote: Pacypacy, Vernon Robinson can be seen as an "Uncle Tom" because he is black and he is a republican. Most blacks in this country are democrats. Also, although the term "Uncle Tom" is unflattering, it is not a racial slur.

So people like Walter E. Williams, Larry Elder, Colin Powell, Condi Rice, are "Uncle Toms"? If Uncle Tom is not a racial slur then a non-black supervisor could call say an assembly line worker an Uncle Tom and not be called a racist or drummed out of his job by the Union or the NAACP, or sued for ethnic intimidation? Could a non-white neighbor call his black neighbor Uncle Tom and not be accused of being a racist? No, I think it's a slur.

Pacypacy, you don't need to quote everyone every time you want to respond to them. Just respond to that person like I'm responding to you. We get the gist. Also, what is the name you would give to black people who call other black people "Uncle Tom.?" Come to think of it, black people are more likely to call another black person an "Uncle Tom" before a white person would call a black person an "Uncle Tom." Have you heard of the Call 'Em Out group? They're black people who call other people "Sell Outs/Uncle Toms" if they perceive that that person is catering to white people.
