For those interested, a game occurs at Bluehill Park behind Cadieux and Mack on the east side every sunday at 1:30 pm. We have been playing for about four years now going back and forth between Balduck Park and Bluehill.
Fast pitch with called strikes. Lead offs - no stealing. We usually get about 16 or so players, so we are looking for a couple more on average. We can always accomodate up to 24 players.
Watch out for the gravel-grounders that spring to life in any direction they want to.
It's a real solid game with good people if ANYONE is interested.

FYI, we stay play at 3rd and Selden, 7PM on Wed. If you haven't came by yet, stop by this week, confirmed 15 people so far, it would be sweet to play 9 on 9 in Detroit. |

Looks like we may move to our new field but we will meet at 3rd and selden first to make sure people know where were going. I will be at the new field making sure no one has taken it for the night and curly will bring you guys over at about 7:20. Much nicer no weeds in the infield, elevated mound and a infield that can support a 90 ft base path! Come one come all. |

Aimin, for clark park but anthony is on vacation so I haven't been able to get a clear answer if we can use it every week.

The new field is at St. Hedwig Rec center on Konkel and junction since clark park now has football. Hope to see more of you there next week the 11 of us had a blast this week. get there between 5 and 6 so we can have an earlier start if possible. For updates check the website. |

The 2007 Season is coming to an end this week, Wednesday the 10th will be our last game. Please understand this is not an end for good. DSBC is having one last game for this year, we WILL BE BACK next year, early spring. I would like to thank the many people for what you contributed to the club, I will be thanking you all in person, don’t want to offend anyone if I didn’t mention their name.
I would hope you could find time in you busy schedule to play just one last game with the Detroit guys, this week no change, ( 6PM Memorial park in Southwest Detroit ) find directions at detroitsandlot.com. Hope you can make it, see you there. |
