Has anybody heard any news/progress regarding either a future hotel or House of Blues?

Groooannn. That was bad.

JVHockey, being pretty new myself here, you will quickly learn to do a search for threads on your topic first before posting. Chances are good one already exists. It'll save you time and will prevent you from getting an evil reply from someone telling you to do a search first. :-)

In the meantime, I emailed the HOB so we could put an end to this question (for now).

Here's what they had to say:

quote:

Greetings from HOB.com. Thank you for writing us.

We thank you for your interest in House of Blues Clubs and Venues. House of
Blues is the second largest music live concert promoter in North America and
is the definitive live music brand. Although we do not have any confirmed
plans to open a club or venue in Detroit at the present time, please continue
to visit our website for updated information. As locations and information
are finalized, we will be post it on our site.
