I know that everyone is noistalgic around here and like to focus on preserving buildings, but do you think that we could update the banner pic that shows the cement silos? They are no longer there, and I don't really miss them. I was just wondering if the people that run the site might consider updating the site to reflect the new view of downtown.

it was more easily spotted before tiger stadium was superimposed on the skyline, but if you look closely, you can see where kwame was hiding his personal space shuttle when the whole red navigator thing blew up. that would have made for some really ugly press.

I think, after reexaming the picture, that you can see the bright neon sign for the new downtown Cheescake Factory just to the left of the Comerica Tower.
