I'm sorry, but it's just an historical marker. it is not historic in its own right. Can't they just make another one and problem solved? It should be changed anyway, since it'll soon need to begin with, "On this site once stood Tiger Stadium..." |

I didn't know that Michigan and Trumbull LLC was a few blocks from where I live. Interesting that there is a no questions asked grace period...so some yahoo could return what they took and make some $$ off of it. |

FYI, guys ... Riley sees the ballpark every day. He's VP of Sales at Brooks Lumber, right across the street. |

Then my view has changed slightly. If that is the case for the sake of the business you have to wonder why he would want it there. |

No throwdowns, guys. : ) I can't speak for Peter ... you'd have to ask him. All I know is that this ballpark stuff has felt like an ongoing soap opera, huh? The only thing missing is Luke and Laura ... and they can't be far behind. Hell, they were probably married there. |

I'd be interesting in knowing his vision for what to do with the stadium, and his insights having spent so much time in that neighborhood. |

I hate to plug it again cuz some posters frown upon it, Mackinaw. I get that. Anyhow, in case you haven't checked it out already, go to www.strandedatthecorner.com and take a peek at the new documentary about the stadium. It's a Gary Glaser film, and Riley himself was executive producer. Scott Martin and Riley both appear on camera briefly. There's much more to the stadium story, of course, but the 90-minute documentary tells a good deal of it. |
