The Mayor went to visit Bobby in jail over the weekend. First, the WC Sheriff wouldn't allow the Mayor to see Bobby. Then a phone call was made to Warren Evans and Kilpatrick was allowed to visit Bobby along with his security who had a gun on him. No guns are allowed while visiting prisoners.

Pl Pl Pl Pleeeeeeeeeeeease!

The story, originally, wasn't about a gun__ but because the 'lynch mob' reporter couldn't 'dig-up' any other dirt on the Mayor, he gravitated toward an alleged gun story.

(by the way the guard stated, he thought, he saw something that looked like a gun--the guard was more than 25 yards away!)

It must be SWEEPS WEEK!__ watcha' back Mr. Kilpatrick!

The funny thing is, the Mayor made the 'lynch mob' reporter look like a fool:-):-):-) one-up for the Mayor!

"Small" incidents and major incidents, yet the Kilpatrick apologists always say the same thing...

Here's my question, "Why would the mayor have to see Bobby Ferguson that early in the morning? they couldn't wait 'till after Bobby got out in the morning? Kilpatrick must owe Ferguson a huge favor for the mayor to continue to have this relationship with a person of Bobby Ferguson's character.

It would be funny if it was not true. The Mayor visiting a guy who is convicted of assault and not just the average butt kicking but a PISTOL WHIPPING. The convict serves his time under a sweet deal (only nights and weekends). In addition, the convict has multiple city contracts worth hundreds of thousands of dollars.

And we wonder why Detroit is held up as an object of ridicule.

Since Bobby is on a work release, you would think if the conversation was about work, it could have been done during work hours.

Maybe Mayor Kilpatrick was going to teach him not to PISTOL WHIP people. Kwame has a teaching certificate, right?

Detroiters do not care. Too busy avoiding DTE shutoffs, I guess.

Bobby Ferguson isn't the only person in Dickerson who only does his time on the weekends and work during the week, there are a few dozen people over there with the same deal and they don't know Kilpatrick.

Oh please this story is stupid. Typcial Detroit press out to get Kilpatrick. Why isn't someone after Hendrix? I bet he is still hiding in Florida from all his money problems...law suits abound. That is the more interesting story. How Detroit Pollsters and the news media tried to get us to elect a guy who is in severe financial trouble and needed to get elected mayor to feed his "financiers" business through his mayoral connections.

I hate Kilpatrick as much as the next guy but this story is really reaching and rediculous.
