Has anyone tried the food at Bunchy's? I have and it's pretty good (I love fried chicken). They also have a great chicken breast sandwich, fries and the whole spill.

They are right next to the Water Board.

Oh yeah, ice cream, shakes, deserts and soups. They also deliver any where downtown starting at lunchtime. Check them out!

Oh, they also told me that they will be carrying Krispy Kreme starting Friday.

Yay! Krispy Kreme in the CBD!!!!!!!!!

Looking forward to the high-tech website at www.bunchys.com and its 3D interactive fried chicken. :-) Right now, though, it's looking a lot like www.brodericktowerlofts.com.

how late are they open?
Their sign is never lit, makes me never stop by at night.
I noticed they had the free coffee for on-duty cops sign up, hope they haven't had any problems.

The owner of that fancy store in the Penobscot that closed owns this place. Nice guy and a Detroit resident (in the Grandmont neighborhood), I just wonder where he gets the money to do all these failed business ventures. He owns a couple of buildings that he's been trying to turn into additional locations of Bunchy's. The carry costs on those places has to be pretty spendy.

I think they close a 9pm during the week and midnight on Fri and Sat.

I'll tell them what you said about the sign, Sheik.

Ah yeah...Bunchy's is one of my favorites. A ittle pricey. They do get a lot of patronage from the employess of the Water Dept.

The cakes are homemade and they are great.

They get alot of business from the casino workers. Many of them swear it is the best fried chicken they have ever eaten.

Shave, you are so gay! No one said to make a sandwich out of two raspberry filled and a boneless chicken breast.

LOL

I only went a couple of times. The chicken was good, but it took forever to get service.

And, the pies, well, let me put it to you this way -- whenever I have a piece, my eyes go into the back of my head and a big grin comes onto my face.
Then, I'm ready...
